About the Event
While Tati Tung's artworks explore a two-year ongoing public health measure on "How to Not Wear a Mask" using watercolour and comic relief, Chemist Marcelo Muñoz Figueroa will explore a more technical and scientific view of the subject. Marcelo works at the BioEngineering and Therapeutic Solutions (BEaTS) Division of Cardiac Surgery at the University of Ottawa - Heart Institute.
Let's review with Marcelo some of the interesting facts around the use of masks, types, and recommendations issued during the pandemic. And get to participate in an open discussion on what is coming next while the measures start to relax.
This talk is in English. Please be aware that we look to have an educated discussion as the topic could inspire controversy. Slurs will not be tolerated, but opposite views are welcomed to foster conversation.
